Lindzy Sienkowski

Lindzy Sienkowski is a fully Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Lindzy is also recognized as a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

 

Lindzy works with clients 13 years of age and older and has experience working in individual, family and group settings. Her experience lends expertise in the areas of eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression and adjustment issues.

 

Lindzy takes an empathic and integrative approach to counseling, most frequently utilizing psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies to meet the unique needs of each of her clients.

Lindzy has presented professionally on the topics of eating disorders & body image disturbance, eating disorders & substance abuse, and teen suicide prevention. She is a professional member of the American Counseling Association, the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association, the National Eating Disorders Association, and the International Association of Trauma Professionals. Lindzy is a past member of the Academy for Eating Disorder’s social media committee.
