Meet Adrianne

Adrianne Steiner received her Master of Arts degree in counseling from Oakland University. She also obtained her Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification.  Adrianne has additional training in Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, Sensimotor Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention, and EMDR from the Parnell Institute.

Adrianne believes therapy can help change a behavior or provide skills that can be learned. She offers a safe, confidential environment, and will work on what you need.

Adrianne has worked in residential and outpatient, in substance abuse and mental health facilities.  She sees adults, male and female, dealing with anger anxiety, depression, domestic violence, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, stress, substance abuse, post traumatic stress disorder, trauma, and women’s issues.  Adrianne has experience working with the Warren sobriety court, probation departments, and driver’s license re-evaluations.

Adrianne uses Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRT), Motivation Interviewing (MI), Person Centered, Strength Based and Trauma-focused.
